MINT™ UP is one of the shortest barbed PDO threads in our product portfolio at 9.5cm. This makes it highly beneficial for detailed threading in small areas.
The exposed thread on the distal end of the cannula is unidirectional to accommodate for smooth insertion, and the cannulated portion of the thread has multi-directional barbs for all-around fixation.
What is MINT™
MINT™ is a lifting thread (facial tissue fixation thread) made of dissolvable material polydioxanone (PDO) with 360-degree, 3D helical barbs to pull and fixate skin tissue for wrinkle improvement. It is a PDO (Polydioxanone) to deliver safe and outstanding results. Developed using patented moulding pressed technology, the helically positioned 360˚, 3D barbs have high tensile and anchoring strength to provide superior results.

What is PDO(Polydioxanone)
PDO(Polydioxanone) is a biodegradable polymer that has been used as a surgical suture. It naturally dissolves and absorbs in the human body and promotes skin elasticity by stimulating collagen synthesis. PDO is a safe raw material that is non-antigenic and fully dissolved within 6 months of the procedure.
